Today, Garnier announced that Georgia May Jagger is the New Face of Garnier Fructis. As their new international spokesperson for what is a 20 year old iconic brand (Fructis), Jagger will appear in her first campaign in early September 2015. She is a renowned model and has become a trendsetter within the fashion world. With model-actress mother, Jerry Hall, and rock legend father, Mick Jagger as influences, she has grownup into a true talent in her own right. Despite the fame and glamour at a young age, Jagger has grown up with six siblings and has always remained down to earth, energetic and genuine – values that the Garnier Fructis brand holds strong to.
“I am thrilled to be working with the Fructis team. This brand is full of energy, very dynamic, with a strong expertise and commitment. I love the products, very accessible, easy to use with great results,” said Georgia May Jagger about the announcement. “The brand develops products that really meet consumers’ needs. Fructis represents the strength of nature, and I feel very lucky to be part of this Brand!”
When asked what the best beauty advice her stunning 59 year old mother has ever given her, she says “My mother always insisted on the importance of having healthy hair and on never disregarding it. She taught me to be very careful with the products I use, to favor natural ingredients and to ban the hairdryer, at least when I am not shooting. And that’s probably the best advice I have ever been given.”
Off stage and very much in tune with the world around her, Georgia has a deep seeded philanthropic side, supporting different causes such as the SmearforSmear Campaign and Delete Blood Cancer.
“Her lifestyle and attitude, her natural-looking healthy beauty with that British touch, her curiosity and sense of humor are very unique and treasured by younger generations. Her “wit” along with her smart beauty behaviours are precisely the philosophy and vision of beauty that Garnier Fructis champions since 1996.” Delphine Viguier, Global Brand President.
