In 2016 I did a lot more travelling than usual. And it made me realize that many of my favourite beauty products could not make the trip with me due to their size. (At least if I wanted to keep my luggage to a carry-on—which, yes, because I don’t like waiting for things.) I’ve since made it my mission to always have travel-size items on hand to pack that I love as much as my full-size bathroom staples (though if you really can’t part with your regular products, these refillable bottles are always a huge help). Bonus: These goodies are also great for throwing into your purse for touch-ups before evening events when you don’t have time to run home. (This is me always.) Here’s to looking good in 2017, without bulky and heavy products weighing you done.
Hand cream
This baby might take up a bit more space than you want in your bag, but especially in the winter it’s a must. This thick cream from Skin Fix ($17) is perfect for healing super dry hands and can even treat those suffering from eczema.
