Q: I have been experiencing more issues with my grey hair as of late. I am a darker brunette naturally, which makes me think I am stuck with simply colouring my roots every three weeks. What do you suggest I do?
Bill Rowley: One of the better ideas out there when you have too many grey hairs is to consider a rinse vs. a permanent hair colour. Rinsing those greys could allow you to turn them into highlights when you use a semi-permanent colour instead of dealing with the alternative. Or, you could consider a mix of low-lights and mid-lights with a colour in between the shade of your greys and your natural/base colour. As with anything similar to this kind of undertaking, you need to consider that visiting a professional is the only route to go. You’ll best avoid a melt down or emergency visit to the salon the next day.
