Award-winning celebrity nail artist Andrea Fulerton has been painting the nails of A-listers and members of the British Royal Family for over two decades. Her in-demand skill set has made her a favourite among clients including Lady Gaga, Cate Blanchett, Anna Wintour and Kate Moss - just to name a few! She's worked for some of the biggest names in the fashion world such as VOGUE, Versace, Alexander McQueen and Vanity Fair. Naomi Campbell describes her as a "joy to work with" and raves about her expertise in the world of nails. Harpers Bazaar has labelled her the "best nail technician in the industry" so we were over the moon to have a chance to ask her first hand what it's like working with royalty and Hollywood's biggest stars.
BD: WHAT WAS IT LIKE WORKING WITH THE BRITISH ROYAL FAMILY?
AF: I did HRH Princess Beatrice and HRH Princess Eugenie’s nails. They were so kind and polite. The look they wanted called for the emphasis to be on the clothes so beautiful groomed neutral nails.
BD: LADY GAGA ROCKS THE N-ELFIE (NAIL SELFIE). WHAT WAS IT LIKE WORKING WITH HER?
AF: She is a pro, we did a night shoot that lasted ’til 3 am. Lady Gaga was super cool in that she was open to anything so I applied pointed metal nails that scratched all her chest!
