Laser hair removal is by no stretch a new treatment. While it's been proven to be very effective, many people still haven't gone down that road for multiple reasons such as cost, for instance. Furthermore, some people aren't even sure if it's the right treatment for them. We did a bit of digging to help you figure out if laser hair removal is right for you. To make it easier to digest, we've broken it down into a three part series, starting with your initial treatments, right down to keeping that hair gone after treatments are finished.
Tip #1: Find the right doctor and package
Laser hair removal can run up a bit of a hefty bill, so if you’re looking to get multiple areas treated, you might want to do a few at a time and see if you can get a discount, or start with the most important (or perhaps the most coarse) and move on from there. You’ll need multiple sessions in any area you choose to treat, but many people start to see results after just a couple trips, so if you want your legs to go hairless by the end of the summer or don’t want to worry about your next bikini wax, you should plan to start months ahead. It’s also important to find a reputable office who performs the procedure. While there are many packages available on “deal” websites, you need to do your research and ensure that your laser centre isn’t going to go out of business and not refund you (true story).
