Jennifer Aniston’s list of attractive qualities are endless, from her great skin to amazing body and, of course, one of her most iconic attributes, her hair. She was recently named People Magazine’s World’s Most Beautiful Woman for the second time (the first time being in 2004) and there are obviously so many reasons why.
But, like many other celebrities, we want to know her secrets. We want to know what keeps her looking so young at 47. Surely, having an arsenal of people to help work out, cook for you and do your hair and makeup helps, but we know it’s not just that. And we finally got one of her secrets as to why her hair looks so good (it’s not just good genes).
In her interview with People, Aniston explained, “I’ve got a healthy bag of vitamins I take three times a day, like Viviscal and your basic omegas and vitamin C. Good Stuff.” Viviscal, you say? Right there with you, Jen.
I started using Viviscal a little over three months ago to try and give my normally fine and limp strands a boost before my upcoming wedding (which is a little under three months away). So if Jennifer Aniston and I are using the same supplement, that means I’m one step closer to actually being her, right? Right.
But if you haven’t already jumped on the Viviscal bandwagon, here’s what you need to know.
Viviscal is a hair growth supplement that helps reduce shredding and increase density and thickness (perfect for those experiencing thinning or super-fine hair). It’s 100 per cent drug-free and contains a blend of AminoMar C Marine complex, silica and fortified vitamin C, which all nourish your hair to promote growth, thickness and just a generally great mane (which is no wonder why so many celebs and beauty mavens swear by it). And you can imagine all the hair-pulling and transformations that happen with celebs, they need the extra help.
The catch is that it takes around six months to see full results, but if you’re diligent with your twice-a-day supplements, then you may even start to notice a change sooner than that. In the three-ish months I’ve been using Viviscal, I’ve already noticed my hair having a bit more thickness and growing like crazy (and I’m really bad at remembering to take it twice a day, everyday).
So while exercising six days a week like Jennifer Aniston isn’t always realistic, at least you can be close to having great hair like hers.
Viviscal Maximum Strength retails for $60 for a one-month supply (60 tablets) or $180 for a three-month supply (180 tablets) and is available at Shoppers Drug Mart or viviscal.ca
