Are you washing your face properly? Do you know what that means? Do you consider skin care to be slightly confusing or overwhleing? These are questions most women are flustered by, so we asked our very own beauty expert, and BeautyDesk Editor-in-Chief, Bahar Niramwalla, to put together her best (and most simple!) step-by-step guide on how to properly care for your face with product suggestions that may not be a one-size-fits all, but they are ideal for those ladies still using soap and nothing else as their skin care routine.
“Going mild is the best idea in the a.m. as there is only so much dirt you’ve accumulated while you are asleep” says Niramwalla. Washing your face before bed, and waking up, your face is still in pretty good shape, so a product with a very light lather will work just fine. Anything too harsh and sudsy will simply strip away natural oils.
