Maybelline’s Baby Lips Balm ($4) is the ultimate workhorse. After we spotted makeup artists using it backstage at Toronto Fashion Week for just about everything (including a makeshift blush), it’s become a product we can’t leave home without. It’s most obvious use is protecting against chapped lips, but it also makes a flattering highlighter when applied to cheekbones and the bridge of the nose thanks to a soft sheen and sheer pigment. We use Grape Escape as a blush to wake up our skin’s complexion, plus it’s flattering on all skin tones. It can even be applied to lids.
