Mikhael Kale kicked off Toronto fashion week with a fusion of florals, pearls and pink slime-coated hair (yes really)! The combination was a work of art and in true Kale style, the hair, makeup and nails were popping with texture, colour and shine. Here’s a round-up of the best beauty moments to come out of the Mikhael Kale Spring Summer 2016 runway show.
Mikhael Kale added a serious splash of colour to his models hair to accentuate the saturated bright shades embedded in his Spring collection. Lead hair stylist Jorge Joao painted models hair in bright fuchsia pink using temporary paint from a prop store. The secret to holding the look together was Redken Hardwear Super Gel, $16. “The look wasn’t made to last a long time. We went to a prop store, picked up some temporary colour, but it was the gel that kept the colour in place,” said Joao.
