Spring's forecast was set at New York Fashion Week this month, with models strutting the latest designs that we can expect to see next year, but it's not all about the clothes. The catwalk is where beauty trends are born and designers gave us a sneak peek of what we can expect to see in stores (and on our Insta-feeds) come Spring. Nails are by far and away the new handbag. From a subtle, minimal look to a more daring design, nail art is back & bigger than ever. Here's a round-up of the top five nail trends from NYFW.
MIXED PATTERNS

Designers such as Jeremy Scott and CND for Libertine painted the catwalk with plenty of colour at NYFW, and that includes nails. Instead of picking one design and shade, the CND Design Lab Team opted for SHELLAC Brand 14+ Day Nail Color and VINYLUX Weekly Polish in nearly-neon shades of yellow, pink, blue, orange and green playing with patterns. Four distinct nail looks were used to create “organized chaos”. Checkerboard patterns created the pop art effect and were paired with dual-toned colour blocks, metallic shades and encrusted details.
