BSo, we have to beg the question: does makeup have an expiration date? You bet it does! That beloved nail polish color you have been saving for a special occasion is probably expired. To ensure you never have to part with your favorite shade of lipstick or your go to foundation, we broke down the products and their expiration dates for you.
Your mascara definitely has one of the shortest shelf lives at just three months. Around this mark, you’ll notice that your formula is a touch dry or clumpy/flaking. This means it’s not going to go on like it used to and probably won’t do your lashes any favour. There is also an increased risk of transferring bacteria back and forth from your eyes to the tubes at this point in time. You can prob. afford to grab a new one every three month interval, though, to avoid putting your peepers at risk.
