The carpet is out, the carpet is out! The celebs have arrived and Toronto has turned into Tinseltown North. 34 year old Natalie Portman stepped out for TIFF’s first Soirée where she took to the stage in an intimate chat about her life and career. Her make-up artist, Melanie Inglessis, sat down with us to give the low down on her look. “We wanted to keep the look young and effortless so we settled on a soft smoky eye. I picked up the aubergine hues from the [Dior] dress and used this as a reference point for the colour of the shadow. Natalie’s skin is flawless and I wanted to keep it fresh and dewy. I opted for a nude lip to compliment the finished look”.
