Twenty years ago, Estee Lauder launched the original Pleasures fragrance: a sheer and beautiful blend of wild peonies, jasmine and lilies that has delighted the senses of woman around the world for over two decades.
In February 2015, Estee Lauder released a new limited edition Pleasures fragrance, Pleasures Florals.
A floral bouquet of clean and soft notes that are pleasantly compelling but not at all overpowering. I enjoy searching for different fragrances for the change of the seasons and have fallen quite hard for the subtlety of Estee Lauder Pleasures Florals, especially as an option for spring/summer day wear.
This expressive scent is evocative of a fresh spring day with notes of Jasmine and Waterlily flowers; the kind that has just bloomed and is sweetly warmed by the suns kisses. Delicate undertones of musk are infused with warm cedarwood, which adds a bold hit yet gently mixes well with the floral top notes for lasting effect.
With a staying power of up to 8 hours, this gorgeous floral absolute and fruity complex reminds me every so often during the day that it’s still there. Those welcomed reminders are often followed by a deep, joyous inhale with my mind momentarily escaping reality for a brief moment.
It’s incredible when a scent can whisk you off into a daydream… if only for a few seconds.
