Some people find feet to be a turn-off while others find them fetish-worthy. Either way, there is nothing worse than wearing a cute pair of sandals with cracked heels and unruly toenails. And there is certainly nothing better than your man offering a foot rub because your feet just look oh so soft and sexy. In this second installment of our three part series, we have all your foot problems solved in the toenail realm. We offer up some simple solutions to get your toes ready for summer.
Solution: Use Quality Tools
When cutting your toenails, opt for a high quality pair of nail clippers. Toenails tend to be thicker than fingernails and cheap ones just won’t cut it (pun intended). Clean cuts are important for avoiding ingrown toenails. Cut straight across and short enough so that the nail doesn’t extend past the tip of your toe. Do NOT cut or file the side of your nails as this encourages ingrowns. File them instead using an emery board (metal files will rip your nails). Use the coarse side of the file to shorten and shape and the fine side for smoothing.
